Applied in WWTP circular clarifiers, the ZCGN Center-Drive Suspended Scraper simultaneously collects bottom sludge into the central hopper and skims surface scum for downstream processing.

Driven by the central mechanism, the scraper arms fixed to the rotating vertical frame revolve around the tank's central axis. The bottom blades gradually sweep the settled sludge into the central collection hopper.

Simultaneously, surface scum is directed into a progressively narrowing area formed by the peripheral baffle and the skimming plate, which rotates in tandem with the feed well. As the hinged skimming arm approaches the scum hopper, the blade on the arm seamlessly sweeps the concentrated scum into the hopper for external discharge.
