Lightweight Cost-Effective Full-Bridge Suction Clarifier with Overload Protection for Rapid Sludge Removal

Designed for circular secondary clarifiers in WWTPs, the ZQXN Peripheral-Drive Full-Bridge Suction Clarifier sweeps settled bottom sludge into a series of radially arranged suction pipes. The sludge is then discharged through a central pipe for sludge return (RAS) or thickening and dewatering (WAS). Simultaneously, the surface scum is skimmed into a collection hopper for downstream processing.

The peripheral-drive full-bridge suction clarifier mainly consists of a main beam, end carriages, drive unit, suction and vacuum systems, feed well, skimming mechanism, scum hopper, and control panel. During operation, the drive unit rotates the main beam around the tank's center. Bottom sludge is gathered by scraper blades to the suction ports and, powered by hydrostatic pressure, is continuously drawn through the suction pipes, trough, siphon pipes, and central cylinder for discharge. Each suction pipe features a top-mounted valve for flow regulation. Simultaneously, surface scum is concentrated by the rotating skimmer and peripheral baffle, and then swept into the scum hopper by a hinged scraping arm for removal.
