Introduction
The WLSY Type Shaftless Screw Conveyor and Compactor (also known as a shaftless screw press) is a novel solid-liquid separation device engineered specifically for the sewage treatment process. It brilliantly integrates the transportation and compaction of grid slag into a single continuous operation. Once the moisture-laden slag salvaged by the screen cleaner is conveyed and compacted by this equipment, its volume and water content are substantially reduced, greatly facilitating subsequent external transport and disposal.
The machine primarily consists of a drive unit, shaftless screw, U-shaped trough, bracket, lining plate, cover plate, inlet, compacting section, outlet, and drain pipe. During operation, materials enter via the inlet, are forcefully pushed forward by the screw to the compacting section for deep dewatering, and are finally discharged from the outlet. Simultaneously, the extracted wastewater flows safely through the drain pipe directly back into the grid channel.
